Great location right next to a bus stop, super convenient. Also, there's a Chinese restaurant called Shoryu nearby that we tried a couple of times. Our room even had a bathtub 🛁.

A Perfect Base for Exploring Tokyo
I recently stayed at E Hotel Higashi Shinjuku and had a fantastic time! The location was amazing - just a short walk from Shinjuku Station and right next to Shinjuku Higashi Subway Station. This made it incredibly convenient for getting around Tokyo.
The room, although small, was perfectly functional and clean. I didn't feel cramped at all, and the cleanliness was definitely a big plus.

This hotel is a great value for the money. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the attention to detail and basic amenities provided. The location right next to Higashi Shinjuku station is incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore the city. Plus, the staff are friendly and the rooms, though small, are clean and come with an inaccurate thermostat. Oh, and they even provide 2 bottles of water in the room, a nice touch. Lastly, breakfast at Tully's Coffee is included, giving you plenty of options for starting your day off right.
One small thing that could be improved is the size of the rooms. They are quite compact, but hey, it's Tokyo!

We had a wonderful romantic escape at this hotel! The staff were lovely and very helpful during our stay. The location was perfect, with the metro train station right next door, making it so convenient to explore the city. Plus, there were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby for us to enjoy.
There were a couple of drawbacks. The room was quite small, but we expected that in Tokyo.

The hotel is in a great location, right next to the Tokyo Metro train station and just outside the bustling Shinjuku shopping district. It's very convenient for exploring the city, with the subway station just next to it. The rooms are small but clean, with all the essentials provided by the attentive staff. Additionally, there is a coffee shop underneath the hotel and a coin laundry room for guests to use.
The staff did not greet us with a smile during check-in and check-out, which was a bit disappointing.

We loved our stay at this hotel! The location was superb, being only a few seconds away from the Higashi-Shinjuku subway station. It made exploring this city so convenient, with easy access to popular areas like Ikebukuro, Shibuya, Harajuku, and even Akihabara and Ueno Park. Additionally, there were several 24-hour restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making it easy for us to grab food and drinks whenever we wanted. The cleanliness of the facilities was top-notch, and the staff spoke English well, making check-in and check-out effortless. We also appreciated the hotel's proximity to the Shinjuku main station, which made it convenient for us to explore other parts of the city.
There was nothing we didn't like.

The location of the hotel is great, with two subway lines just steps away. There is also a Tully's Cafe downstairs that offers free breakfasts, which were pretty good. For those with physical handicaps, the hotel's accessibility to public transportation and nearby amenities can be a huge plus.
The hotel staff made me feel relaxed and were always ready to help, making my stay hassle-free.
